Sycamore Reflection WC

This is my second attempt to record the bark of this tree as a reflection.(ID'ed as birch in the first post, sorry).  The first post was taken with the Canon PS SX60, and while I like the image the quality was just not there.  So used a different system for this image.  The conditions were just not as good as the first attempt.

Canon T6i
1/250 @ F-8 ISO 400
Sigma 150-600C OS @ 250mm tripod

A most interesting rendition of bark, John.  While the waves raised havoc with a conventional detailed presentation, I really like the effect you ended up with.  Nice concept and well executed.

Very nice, John. The color and pattern are pleasing. Nice job with the dof. Sycamores are impressive trees and this one worked well for the abstract reflection.

Yes, John, the conditions, especially the wind, make big differences in reflections.  I like how you've filled the frame with the tree's reflection and you've got a fine collection of grey and brown tone as well as a good ripple structure.  The touches of blue along the rhs seem a bit strong and well worth toning down, if you can do that without affecting the browns.
