Excellent to see you posting again, Sandy. I've missed your work.

A lovely, full wing extension show, with excellent details in the whites. My only criticism is that you didn't post a larger version; while you were away, Jim allowed us to post to 1MB/1600 pixels.

Hi, jim - lots of new stuff I see here and love - need to catch up a bit and find how to post a larger version.
Good to her from you!

Hi Sandy,
Welcome back! The open wingspan pose is great and you had beautiful light too. Then there's that complimentary blue water to top it off. It would be great to see this large, you'll figure it out. On the posting page you have the option to upload a larger image. enlightened  Nice work!

A lovely full wing, take-off view, Sandy, with excellent detail in the whites against a fine blue water background.

Welcome back, Sandy.  It's good to have you posting again.  I really like the landing pose on the Egret.  On my monitor, it looks like you could up the exposure on the bird just a bit as it looks a touch gray (but my monitor is also telling me it's a couple of weeks overdue for calibration).  Excellent composition.

Excellent landing pose in great light.  Feather detail is great.  Perhaps a slight levels adjustment to pop the egret off that darker background?
