The Blessing

My three day tour of Ireland was notable for good fortune with the weather, rainy and grey except for the times when I was shooting. I was always photographing bad weather moving in or out. Had all of my shoots been an hour earlier or later my portfolio would have been almost non-existent. Here's another place I've long wanted to visit, the Cliffs of Moher.

You lucky man! This is some wonderful light, and the beam of sun light hitting the land is splendid.

Great shot! I like this view very much and that light beam adds such a wonderful touch to this. Beautiful capture.

Oh those god beams!  I like what you've done with the shadows vs. light.  Excellent.

Your work is always amazing, and this is no exception. At first, I felt the cliff on the left foreground was too dark, but it fits the mood. One minor nit: I can see a halo along the edge of the background cliffs. The shaft of sunlight and the squall are nice touches.

Dramatic shot and lucky shot from your story. Intriguing little bump on the cliff in the distance. I love the texture and light on the water, plus that sky is just amazing.
