This is an image of the Tacoma glass Museum devised by the glass artist Dale Chihuly. It is quite interesting structure although one visit to the museum is probably enough every 10 years. Tacoma is trying to make itself an art friendly city. There are several interesting museums there although not yet world-class. The most recent addition is the Lemay automotive Museum which does have a fairly impressive and extensive collection of automobiles. The automotive Museum is making the strongest pitch at rotating exhibits.
The large detailed view shows a better level of saturation.

BTW, the structure in back with the diamond crosshatch pattern is conical in shape and houses the glassblowing laboratory. If one visits the museum, you can see glassblowing art being created throughout the day. I think it is the main attraction of the museum.
