The Blue Bells Of Spring

A recent trip to Dartmoor allowed myself and Ines the opportunity to capture a few early Blue Bells (Hyacinthus non-scripta).  Nearly half of the worlds Blue Bells are found in the UK with a large proportion of these in and around Dartmoor.  Unfortunately, we were a little early for the 'main show' (by about two weeks), but I thought i would share this High-Key impression with you ...

SD1 Merril, Meyer Görlitz Orestor 135mm, F2.8, ISO 100, 1/320 sec.

A larger view can be found HERE.

Cheers, Mark

Beautifully done, Mark !  I like the large space you've left to suggest the delicacy of the flowers, which are crisp against the pale yellow backdrop.

Beautiful image, Mark. The soft yellowish bg perfectly complements the bkuebells. Very artistic, as usual for you.

Beautiful capture ! the high-key treatment works well. Love how the stems fade at the bottom.
Congrats on a fine WP!
