Palanquera- Fruit Vendor+RPost
by Richard Sandor
Palanqueras or fruit vendors can be seen in the old town section of Cartagena, Colombia. I bought some fruit from the lady and asked if I could take her photo. She agreed. I took some of her posed against a wall, but preferred this one as it portrayed her activity and showed the colorful neighborhood as well. Taken with an Olympus E-M1, 12-40 lens, 1/400, f/3.5 and ISO 400. C&C welcome. Richard

4 commentsTerrific image of color and culture; indeed nice photo journalism.
Agree with Sandra's comments. To add, I wanted to mention there is a couple of strange transitions between colors in the left background. the woman holding the pink material and the guy with the blue shirt. Not sure what's happening, if it's from the lense and shooing wide open, or if something in processing. Not a big deal, just an observation.
Love the colors!
