The Rose Breasted Grosbeaks have returned for their annual 2 week or so stay in our neighborhood.  This image was made a few days ago. 7D2 500 F4 at ISO 800 F6.3; 1/1000.  A tad of fill flash at flash EV of -1 2/3.  Thanks for looking.  Comments welcome.

What a beautiful bird Ed. Nice BG and nice job with the focus in the critical space with all those little branches in the way.

Nice capture Ed.  Coincidentally, I saw my first Rose Breasted Grosbeak two days ago when one appeared in my neighbor's yard.  It sure was a long way from yours!

The combination of bird and BG is awesome.  It's nice to see those pesky branches help for a change.  The fill up the rest of the space nicely.

Very nice image of the Rose Breasted Grosbeak and I like the composition and habitat. Wish there was a little more detail in the blacks but otherwise a very pleasing photograph.

Nice, Ed.  Must be cool to have them, even as passers-by.  Detail and composition are excellent.

Ed--I could not comment on this one due to me being busy and away from the computer.  The BG is excellent and it makes the RBG's colors pop. Well done...........................Jim
