This is a small beach at Agua Verde where I camped for several days this spring. There's an old man, Juan, that lives in that shack with his dog and not much else. Not much goes on over here yet. Just days of staring at the water.

Please look at the LARGE VERSION!

Comments and criticism appreciated.

Canon 6D, 24-105mm@24mm, ISO 100, F8.0, 1/45 secs, tripod, CPL

This was a merge of 2 image to handle the high dynamic range

Clever shot. The curve of the beach leads nicely to the rocks and that offshore sea stack showed up in just the right place.  Well done.

That cactus just asks to be photographed like that! I am seeing some distortion on the horizon, which might be an easy fix. Juan sure lives at a nice spot.

Lovely subject and inviting description. the curved beach and impressive rocks make a spectacular background to a spectacular cactus.  I find myself wishing that the cactus were not lined up with the center of the large rock, but I suspect that moving around to a different POV might require some kind of aircraft. ;^)   Excellent exposure, color and details.
