Yesterday was Mother's Day in India, here's a variation of my post from the last year... a young calf, who preferred to stay in touch (physically) with mother.
Thank you so much for your views n comments!

Jagdeep,

mother's day also in Germany yesterday and this image somehow is representative for the care mothers take about the kids. Nicely done, also the black & white conversion.

A very nice mother's day image.  The B&W works especially well here.

Hi Jagdeep,

The Detail View is a must-see on this one! Love the positioning of the little one (tucked so sweetly under mom) and the complementary positions of their respective trunks adds a lot of interest to this shot. And, I love the textures. When I look at the Detail View the image seems pushed a bit too far on the sharpening, especially in the areas lit most brightly (Juniors whole head and the shiny portions of mom's front right leg really show a lot of sharpening artifacts). But that's just a post-processing detail and the overall visual and and emotional impact of this image is just undeniable.

Cheers...thanks for sharing this one!

Brad
