Most excellent, Sandy ! Beautifully captured birds, with a nice relationship between them, against the perfect backdrop

Beautiful detailed image Sandy! There does seem to be some noise in the background that should be easy to fix. Nice interaction between the storks, too bad they are endangered.

Very nice composition with the two birds and their interaction. I agree with Steve about the noise. I'm afraid to take pictures with my D800E over iso-200 if I'm going to do any cropping at all because I find it starts to get very noisy. While it is easy to fix with a variety of tools, I do wish the sensor on this camera was as good as the D 700 with respect to noise.

Pretty nice pair of Wood Storks. Exposure looks fine. There is a bit of noise that could be removed to help the image.
Wood Storks were taken off the endangered species list in June 2014. They are still on the threatened list.

Very nice work Sandy. I like the clean BG and having both birds looking the same direction is nice. While I see the noise others are referring to, it doesn't seem to bad to my eyes, but NR would make a slight improvement still. Well done!

Nice shot of this pair, Sandy, and they look like they're in prime plumage. An excellent job handling the whites with lots of good detail.

An intimate capture of the interaction, Sandy; very nice. There is some noise in the background. Not bad for ISO1600, but noticeable. I'd select the birds, invert the selection and then apply DFine or another noise reduction product to the background.
