I really like this. Terrific pose and calling behavior. You also got a very nice background. We have lots of  Spotted Towhee's  here but have never seen this species. It is quite colorful.

Hi Pete
Very nice work. I would like to see larger photograph of this Towhee.

Beautiful, Pete.  Lovely detail and I really like the pose with inflated crest and open beak.  I haven't seen much of this bird-is this just a singing pose or was it upset about something?

Beautiful shot, Pete. You caught him with his tail flared, which is very cool. With you'd posted a larger version...

Nice work Pete! I agree that a larger version would be easier to assess details in the image. If this something you need help with just ask.

Pete, nice color combo here.  The small pods on the perch play nicely with the red crown of the bird.

A wonderful image Pete, the tones of the perch and bg work great with the plumage of the bird.  The singing pose is excellent, probably the best image I have seen of this species. devil

Beautiful image - looks as if he was fairly far away. A bit of noise on the bird that might not hold up in a larger image.
Nontheless, a great shot - congrats on the WP !
