I don't always get iris photos that work out, but I really liked the ones that I got this year. I got lucky with three or four blooms lined up nicely this year.
Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Irises are tough! Not my style, but good just the same. I like your POF on the beard and the gentle wash of OOF colors. First rate!

Very nice, Nathan. I like the way you isolated the "tongue" of the middle iris amid all the soft lavender wash. Expertly composed and shot.

The tongue stands out beautifully in the surrounding wash of mostly light purple, Nathan. This view creates a fine sense of intimacy. I am wondering how processing for just a touch more texture in the whites of the tongue would look.

Very delicately handled, Nathan ( and nice to see you posting again by the way !! ). Like the unusual centred composition - it works well somehow with the exuberant forms of the iris.
