Thats the entrance to the spiders parlor. This one the funnel web spider, and lit from the side using a led torch, with just enough light to separate the strands of web. ..When making images of nature, very little is under our control, ask me about the speed at which this spider moves..

Thanks Mark ..for making my favorite subject ...as WC

Your efforts both in focusing and in lighting paid of well here, Balan.  The spider is nice and sharp and the tunnel is clear with the individual strands showing well.  This WC was suggested by Lucy VanSwearingen, but I'm well aware that it's a favorite subject of yours.

Wonderful, unique comp and great view of a critter in its environment! The lighting works very well, and the spider seems to be emerging from a black tunnel. This must have been a real challenge to get!

Beautiful, Balan, and this really shows off the fact that this is one of your favorite areas.  The lighting is just perfect.

Awesome shot, Balan, with an outstanding "creepy" feel. Love the "tunnell" look of the web. Expertly captured with the artificial light.  devil

A good one!  I think it would have been nice to have a bit more light on the rear of the spider, but a small thing.  Thanks for sharing.
