Virgin River Whitewater

From Zion May 2014.  Photographing river rapids is something I always enjoy.  Setting up on tripod with a shutter delay is guesswork at best for me, but fun to see the results.  I have numerous frames along the river from this trip.  Cropped from top to 3:2 aspect from 4/3rds original.

E-5 ZD50-200 (108) tripod, ISO 100 1/4 f13 0.0EV

Bill: nice one. Often there's a tendency to let water become milky smooth, which I think in this case would defeat the purpose of showing the movement of the rapids. I would consider adding a bit of contrast, but very good otherwise. Richard

Almost looks like a painting. This made a nice abstract.
