Himba Woman's Necklace

Not the same woman whose hair I photographed, but a different woman. What attracted me was how her skin and necklace glowed from the ochre treatment even though she was backlit. Olympus E-M1 and 40-150 lens at 142, 1/1000, f/2.8 and ISO 800. Richard

Very well done.  I'm sure you had a difficult decision about cropping the image.  I think it works well.

Richard,

The close up view works out great in showing off the shapes, textures and tones in the image. Beautiful vision and cpature.

Marvellous textures, Richard, and an all round fine composition, giving the subject great presence.
