Salad with Your Fish?

I really liked the way in which this Gull presented the fish.  After all, food is all about the presentation, isn't it?

7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600mm, handheld, f/7.1, 1/1250, iso 640, manual exposure.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped to 11.4 MP before resizing.  Taken June 15th at 7:43 AM.

Your comments and criticisms are welcomed and very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Nice capture Dennis. That fish is tack sharp. Well done.

Hi Denis
I know I often overlook Gulls but, this photo interesting and well shot. Nice work.

I like the salad garnish and glaze on the fish. Certainly unusual to find so discriminating a Gull.sad

devil to start with ... Excellent moment, sharpness and detail. Only wish would be to have some more space on the RH side, but that's as much the only thing I would like to see changed. Other than that a real, real gem ! Love it ! Hans

Hi Dennis,

Certainly this gull was asking you politely if you had any Grey Pouponsad.  Great details present--I'd like this one better with a vertical comp.  Otherwise, a fun shot of predator and prey.......................Jim

I believe this is a seaweed wrap.  It is a learned behavior from hanging out at all the Asian restaurants in Bremerton.  I like the color balance and detail in the image and I know what I'm having for dinner tonight.
