Male Puma

I've published my full puma gallery on my website today, so why not share another image here.  This was a young male who was following his mother along the lake shore.  He and his year-and-a-half year old twin brother had returned to spend time with mom for some reason, even though she had already produced a new set of triplet cubs.  This male was pretty well behaved around his younger siblings, but we suspect his twin may have been responsible for killing the small cubs a couple days later.

Max,
I am not to sure about the space to the left, but the subject is perfect. I have no idea of the circumstances of this shot but wonder if a slight warming might help?

Ken, warming may help a bit.  It was in the shade in the very late afternoon, so it was tending toward a naturally "cooler" setting already.

Hey Max, like the capture with excellent detail and the surprise look appearance from the right side.

What is so impressive is that these are truly wild.  The framing works fine, and this would also be a wonderful portrait in vertical orientation.

No bother for me on the cooler tones, works well and gives me a sense of place (the cold Patagonia).
Great clarity and even lighting, would love to see these myself one day.
