Last Bald Eagle

At least for awhile.  This one wasn't large enough in the frame to make a tight crop sensible and I liked the bg, so I decided to keep the eagle small in the frame to provide what I hope is a nice sense of space.

7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600mm, hand held, f/8, 1/3200, iso 640 manual exposure.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Full frame.  Taken at 7:25 AM on June 15th.

Comments and criticisms are appreciated.

Thanks,

A good flight shot of the eagle with a nice BG.  I do find the position of the near wing to be a bit awkward.  Also would like to see some detail in the eagles head.  Hard to get with all of the dark areas.  Thanks for sharing.

A nice, moody shot, Dennis. The sense of space is very nicely captured.
