Redo of Palouse #6

Here is my 6th of perhaps 7 or 8 images from Palouse.  This is my favorite of the batch, thought it is obviously quite different from the others...black and white, more architectural, but certainly showing the impact of nature on the concepts of square and plumb.

Canon 5D3 with 24-105mm at 35mm
ISO 160, f/8, 1/320s

Suggestions on cropping / processing appreciated. This was processed entirely in LR.

I like the house a lot and all the stuff around it. I like the dark sky against the lighter building and you might try seeing how it looks with the sky even darker.  You might consider cropping off the top to put more emphasis on the house.

The house has a lot of character and is actually very cool, Marylynne. For me, the sky or, more particularly, the large bright cloud dominates or dwarfs the house and steals the scene. I think this house is a great find and has lots of potential. If the cloud were darker and more ominous, this comp would work welI. I think Allen's suggested crop is a good one.

Thanks Allen and Scott.  I liked the idea of the weather (i.e. sky) as dominating the house, but your suggestions made a big improvement.  I went with more of a strong wind from the left kind of composition to get that same feeling of the weather's impact.  Let me know if it works better, and feel free to offer other suggestions.

I like the re-post.  Not only is the house more central, but my eye is now more drawn to the weather left of the house and it looks as if the wind is in the process of blowing the house over.  A dramatic and moody shot.

I think the repost is much improved, Marylynne.
