Praying for food

I accidentally posted a copy of this photo in the man and fauna gallery and the suggestion was made that I post this in wild lfe.
I did take the advice of some of the feedback that I received and blurred the background a bit to emphasize the chipmunk.
I like the photo because the chipmunk appears to be folding his/her front paws in prayer.

Taken in my backyard on a day when the sky would continuously go back and forth between sunny and overcast. Please let me know what you think, how I can improve on this or make it more interesting. I have a lot to learn.
Canon T5i
Sigma 150-600C at 313mm handheld
Iso 800
Aperture 7.1
Shutter speed 1/125

Thank you for taking a look.

Brian

This looks familiar Brian. Still a really cool shot of this little guy. Love the pose and the catch light in the eye.

I agree the pose and good light are strong positives.  The rich but natural color is also pleasing.  Is this a square crop from a horizontal shot?  If so, I think a little more space on the left and perhaps some off the right to move the main body mass off center of frame will make this a little better.

Brian,
Love the pose, I agree with Lon on the crop.

He looks very serious in this pose Brian, it's a great pose with excellent detail, I could see moving him ouf of the center a little bit more. devil
