Tree Peony

Taken at Cricket Hill Peony Gardens in CT.  I liked the oriental feel to the image.  Taken with Sony A6000 in pattern mode, 1/80 -0.7, F22 at 210.

Comments appreciated.

Patricia,
You have done it again . . .
Wonderful execution of your vision for simply stunning results. Fantastic overall composition, I especially love the depth you managed and the multiple tones in the background.
You are my Inspiration - laugh

This is lovely, and I, too, am drawn by the Asian feel to this one. Really nice comp and the background works perfectly.

Looks like an interesting camera you're using, Patricia.  I like this effect and your composition is excellent.

So this effect was all done in-camera?  Very nice painterly feel and it's well composed.

Thanks for the interest in this image.  First, I take almost all my images in the field, as and where they stand so this is not a set up.  Allen, yes in-camera feature.  The Sony A6000 has quite a few creative features in-camera and I'm hooked on this particular effect.  This creative filter works extremely well on flowers, buildings, and boats but imho not so well on scenics.  It is easy to switch back and forth from creative to regular shooting.   Although Sony has more expensive mirrorless cameras, this model has been fun and exciting to work with and it is extremely light.
