Parula americana

This one is from back in May. I was lucky enough to get this Northern Parula out in the open in good light. My favorite of all the warblers.

1D Mk IV, 500mm f4L IS + 1.4 TC
1/1000, f8
ISO 400
Slight reduction in vibrance and saturation.

All comments and critique very appreciated.
Thank You.

Very nice isolation and clean BG Matt. I like the overall image and the contrast in color in your BG really makes him pop.

Beautiful bird and great capture. Good details and sharpness as well. For my personal taste, I would have reduced the vibrance/saturation a bit more, mainly for the green portion of the BG at the top, but that is a minor thing. Well done.

Nice to get a Parula out in the open, and with a classic warbler pose. Good techs and wonderful background.

Excellent capture of this colorful warbler, Matt. The pose and lighting are ideal. I might consider moving the subject a tad to the left - it feels too centered in the frame.
