Escalante Selfie (E-9) +1

I shot this "selfie" a bit after Devil's Rainbow. The sun was shinning behind me allowing me to include my shadow in the foreground while storm clouds sweeping into the area added drama to the scene. D600, 18-35 @ 18, 1/100, f16, iso 200, tripod; converted to B&W. I'll also post the color version. Thank you for viewing. Suggestions and other comments, including which version is preferred, greatly appreciated.

Scott, the b&w version adds a significant amount of drama that I really like.  As a minor nit, I wonder about some dodging of the snag, near the right edge, to give more of a triangle of focal points.

This is wonderful, Scott.  I love the loooong shadows of your legs!!  The black and white works much better for me, in part because your shadow is more integrated in a b/w image than a color image (where it feels like a superimposed shadow on a color palette).

Scott, What a cool shot! The color is really pretty but I really do like this in B&W. Love those clouds! Nice work.

This is quite impressive as a large image. Even without the self the it presents a nice view of Escalante. Good job on the contrast and the black-and-white. As much as I like the colors of Escalante, I have to say that I enjoy the black-and-white image here more.
