Time to rebuild

This shot was taken on the Lieutenant River, Ct.  The Ospery was just returning to it’s nest.  I cropped the photo this way, because the bird was down in the bottom of the frame.  I used Lightroom 5 to help the shadows and highlights out.

Nice head on view of this Osprey, Peter. Nice that you captured it carrying nesting material. There appears to be a bit of noise under the bird's right wing, possibly from lightening the shadows under the wing. Overall a nice flight shot.

I like the decision to crop as a pano Peter, however, I wish he was placed higher int he frame with more room on the bottom. Not sure if you have the extra canvas, if not, it would be real easy to add.

You captured a fine spread -wing from the osprey, Peter. I would crop a little bit from the top off and try a more pano composition.

A cool angle, Peter.  I like the nesting material dangling down, but wish it weren't chopped off.  You could probably clone the sticks to various lengths to make it look as if it weren't chopped.  Nice image, regardless of that minor issue.

Thanks for the comments, but I only have Lightroom to work with and the best shot I had of the Ospery placed it at the bottom of the frame.
