Terrific image, Dave. Fine combination of elements, well composed and processed. Looks like a Galen Rowell high sierra image.

Wonderful image. I seldom find a cluster of these flowers in shape for a good composition such as this. It really does look like something from a Sierra Club calendar. I also like the tonal gradient in the sky. There is also a great vertical composition here with Mt Whitney centered and the sky cropped down should you be interested. Great job.

I love the alpenglow in the background, and the moon which complement the flowers in the foreground. I'm also curious to see if a vertical comp here works. Might be worth trying to crop it ;)

Lots of interest near to far. The FG greens look a a bit flat compared to the distant greens - maybe a slight increase would help the flowers pop even more. Very minor though. Love the simplicity of the scene, can get very complicated with the rock gardens.

Awesome alpine image again, Dave. The focal stack worked perfectly. Beautiful layering of elements and color. Outstanding.

Excellent, Dave!! Love the sharpness back to front and the image is filled with wonderful colorful detail. The cloudless Sierra skies did not cramp your style at all.

Really nice image. I like that you didn't artificially increase the size of the moon, as you see in some wide angle images.

Very nice stack work, numerous flowers can be tough.....You handled the range with the stack nicely also, does not look artificial including the moon as was mentioned.

Dave, I don't know how you could have captured this scene any better. This is really nice work! I quite enjoyed your large version.
