Not sure what the problem was between these two females, the altercation started behind the tree line and I caught the tail end of it as they moved to the trees at the edge of the river. I liked the back lighting in the wing of the upper Osprey and the tail feathers of both in this image of the series from this encounter. Hand held from boat, 70% of full frame.

Wonderful action, Mike. I don't know if you have the detail to support it or not, but I'd be tempted to take a bit more off the left and bottom for composition, though that would mess with the nice tree limbs coming into the frame, so it might not work as well as I'm thinking. Nice job on the exposure.

You captured some nice action here Mike. This is one of those images where I like it as posted but I would like to see that scuffle a little closer. The trees do give a sense of habitat. Either way, nice Job!

Great action shot, Mike. I like the way that you composed this with the branches. Both birds have plenty of detail. It may be the high key effect of this image, but it appears just a tad bit oversaturated.
