A rare foray into this beautiful gallery, so any helpful hints would be quite appreciated.

A beautiful and healthy looking sunflower, with tack sharp detail. There are a few blown headlights on some of the petals, but nothing a little darkening brush won't cure. The leaves could stand to be darker with more contrast. They are all the BG you have and they should support the subject and not distract from it. Part of the distraction is the muddy light green color.

Hello Allen, Beautiful sunflower and great details in the center of the flower. The water drops are a nice addition. I wish there was more room at the top.

Allen: Love the capture of the flower. I agree with Phil regarding the supporting leaves. A fairly easy fix would be to add a vignette but this does work for me very well as is. >=))>

Very nice detail in the larger version Allen. Simple sunflower, but it has very nice features.

A very nice and detailed portrait of the king of the summer flowers. An opinion? I would lower the light in the petals as the yellow color burns very easily and it is not always easy to notice it. I love the photo anyway.
