Black and White

Going back to Swans, I photograph this Black Swan at South Cove in Old Saybrook, Ct.  The cove is home to around 20 Swans.  The Black Swan arrived in August and this shot was hand held, then set to 16 by 9 and cropped by 50%. And yes there is a little ringing around the Black Swan, but thought a shot of a Black Swan was worth posting. I used Lightroom 5 to adjust the blacks and whites.

Nice composition Peter. I would almost be tempted to carve off a bit more of the top green area and the right. I know it was a big crop already.

An interesting image, Peter, with a nice composition.  I do wish the leading white swan weren't turned away, but getting four birds to cooperate ast the same time is asking for an awful lot.

Nice image of the swans.  The halo around the black swan isn't that difficult to repair.  It just takes a little time but it is a simple fix.
