Blade of Grass-reworked

The original post was several weeks ago.  Phil commented about the background and I agreed entirely with the comment.  I spent a fair amount of time reworking it.  I used a lens blur and then tried to bring the grass back and keep the background blurred.  I also re-composed so the stem was not coming out of the corner.  The display of the grass and the colors were what caught my attention, so I boosted the reds a bit to bring it to what I think I saw originally.

Thanks for looking.  Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Allen, I know this was difficult to get right. It would be an impossible task to get this any closer, and I think you did a good job. The only thing further I could suggest is using levels or curves to tone down the bright cluster in the lower right of the grass blade.

I like the rainbow effect of the light coming from the grass.  The BG looks really nice.  For me, I see a pretty distinct halo around the whole subject - like maybe the feathering of the BG needs to be closer to the stem and top...

I remember the first version of the photo and for me now it is very much improved. Now I love the background and the colors of the beautiful grass. I agree with the suggestions of Phil and Nathan.
