September Anemone

Here there is always some type of Anemone in bloom from April to September.

In the morning, in the greenhouse near home.

D800E, Nikkor 200mm macro - f/19 and ISO 320

I am always very glad for your opinions and advices.

Perfect DOF control, and I like the relatively-low contrast presentation.

This is exquisite in form and colors, with all the lovely detail around the edges of the petals. Can't think of anything I would change.

Wonderful colors and excellent plane and point of focus, Gigi. The look to the center of the bloom is fantastic!

Gorgeous, Gigi. Terrific subject detail and a beautiful bg. All things being equal, I'd crop a little off the top to avoid the centered subject but it is certainly fine as is depending on the final ratio requirements. devil

Gigi,

The soft lighting and pastel colors remind me of an egg tempera painting. Pretty awesome shot--I'm happy with it as presented devil

Beautiful image.
Unusual perspective, wonderful colours and BG.
The dark spots on the yellow draw my eye, so might be cloned out.

Gigi, I think the picture is perfectly well balanced. Lovely colors, very much in focus and great presentation. Nothing needs to be changed.

Gigi, you have just about blown me away with this one! The subject, the DOF, the detail and the "windblown" attitude of the Anemone—perfection! I wouldn't change a thing. devil

Hi Gigi, You copied all details of this beautiful flower. Excellent DOF. It gives a feeling that this flower is resisting a wind.

Gigi: I was on vacation when you posted this so my apologies for the tardy response. Just a masterful presentation of a beautiful subject. Love the BG and your DOF management especially. Congrats on a very well deserved WP. >=))>
