On a quiet morning in August near a bog, in a vegetation of Molinea, Juncus and Erica there were lots of Agiopes. This one had her web deep between the stems. Therefore I used a relatively large aperture and made a stack of 9 images. Unfortunately I lost the originals (yes, very stupid indeed) so I do not know all settings.

Canon 40D, Sigma 150 mm, 9 images stacked with Zerene stacker, slight increase of contrast with TK darks mask.

All C&C very much appreciated of course.

Guess it's a good thing I'm not squeemish about spiders...sad.  Another great spider shot, Igor.  Her position in the frame works very well plus the mix of web and drops around here all look great.  The striped background works well also.  I do think that a bit of dodging on the spider would let her show more strongly without blowing out the highlights in the drops.

Nice job on the stack, Igor, and that's a really cool center to the web.  I like your dof and the nice bokeh you got in the vegetation.  Excellent image.
