Spirit Bear

During my recent tours in the Great Bear Rainforest, both of my groups were fortunate to see and photograph the spirit bear. Usually, we see these bears hanging around salmon spawning streams, so it was nice to encounter one in a different setting (which was quite lovely) along the beach.

Hi Max, the larger version does the image justice, the 'white' coat provides nice standout against the lush environment. Nice to see the bear foraging along the shoreline. Nice to have the subject more out in the open and not in the glades where light is more of a premium.
