Yet another from May 30th which was a very productive morning this year.

7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @600 mm, f/9, 1/200, iso 640, aperture priority, pattern metering, + 1 1/3 EV (I'd just been shooting dark birds against a bright sky and forgot to adjust.  Whites weren't blown, but I did have to reduce exposure in the RAW editor.)  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped to 11 MP before resizing.  Taken at 6:40 AM on May 30th.

Comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi Dennis
Anytime you can get a clean photograph of a Mummingbird is a good day. Nice work.

A pretty little lady and a very nice capture, Dennis. Very good work on the whites. Unusual to see a hummer feeding while perched.

Another great, fun shot Dennis. Nice clean shot of this little character. I have a couple with them sitting and stretching to feed too. I would call them lazy, but I know much better than that. Maybe efficient is a better word.
