I am going back the same Little Blue Heron I photographed in South Cove, Old Saybrook, Ct  on 5/25/16, because I have been unable to get out to do any photographing because of a walking problem.  I was able to follow the Heron for ten minutes, as the bird fished along the shore. The photo is cropped by about 15% and I adjusted it with some Clarity, Vibrance and Saturation in
Lightroom 5.

I like this, Peter.  Nice pose and the water trailing off the foot conveys the action well.  The head turn is adequate for a view of the eye and I don't mind it facing away and going about its business.

I love this water and the background, the water coming off the bird's feet, and the action of the bird.  I think you have the colors of the bird just right.

The foot coming out of the water gives the photo a lot of energy. Nicely captures.
