This fine female Cheetah had spotted something we could not see (there is a lot of Mopane here), taken in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.
There are only around 6,700 Cheetah left in the wild, yet it seems that nobody is told nor are there many NGO's helping them.

A while back you posted an image of a lion in grass that I really liked. I like this just as much. Wonderful image. For me, nothing not to like.

Wonderful warm light, a complimentary background and an awesome pose.  Love it.

Wonderfully dynamic angle on this beautiful creature. Those hind legs do look powerful, and I wouldn't want to get in its way. Nice colors in the blurred background, keeping the focus on the cheetah.

Hey Ken,

I agree with the others that this one is quite eye-catching. I think it might have been even slightly stronger with a softer background (i.e., shot with a wider aperture...something like f5 or so), but real strong as posted.

Cheers...

Though agreeing with Brad re. the larger aperture, this is a striking, lovely, elegant shot!
