Another Savannah

As I said earlier, there were lots of Savannah Sparrows at Ridgefield and I never have been able to resist them.  This one eventually started grooming itself and took care of the errant tuft of feather.  There was a small area of oof ugliness immediately behind that feather that I cloned over.

7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600 mm, beanbag on car window, f/7.1, 1/500, iso 640, aperture priority, pattern metering.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped to a 9.3 MP 4x5 before resizing.  Taken at 11:30 AM on October 10th.

Your comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks,

Nice head turn and catch light.  Good feather detail.

Very nice Dennis.  I like the detail and color in this one.  The bird really pops against the background.  I probably would have cloned out the OOF stick (left side of bird ) at 30° in-line with the white puffy feather.  It would give the bird a little more separation.
