The Ladies

This is a grab shot in New Delhi. Seconds later, the scene changed completely as the ladies either changed position or moved out of the scene. I was drawn to the bright colors of the walls and the dress of the ladies as well as their poses.Taken with an Olympus E-M1 and 12-40 lens at 1/800, f/5.6 and ISO 2500. Richard

You captured a classic "decisive moment". Well done.

Grab shots are often the best.  You capture life as it happens and those fleeting moments are sometimes the most interesting.  Well seen and well done.

Richard, I really like your New Delhi "slice of life" image.  The women's positions show full engagement in their activities whether it be preparing food or being deep in conversation and their brightly colored clothing and background wall color tie the scene together.  Very nice!

Excellent! Love the sense of the place and the little bit of insight into the activities, plus the colors are great.

Love this intimate look at life in India for women. They are all engaged in something, the two young women with each other and the older one with the cooking. The colors and textures are beautiful. Lots going on here and it all hangs together so well.
