This is another from my recent shoot in Jean Lafitte NP, caught in a pose where I was sure he would leave, but never did after five frames.  In retrospect I could have stopped down for better focus as I was shooting wide open at 1/40 shutter speed in calm conditions. Cropped original 3:2 from top to 4x5 format.

Hindsight is so wonderful...  I like how green this whole image is along with the mix of subtle blue tones.  The frog's head and body are nicely sharp and the pose is great.  Yes, getting the right rear foot and the drops up top sharp would be nice.  A compelling reason to go back out with the camera. enlightened  (at least that's my favorite excuse...)

This is very different from the usual tree frog shot on a leaf, and I really like it.  The colors are beautiful.

Bill, Another beautiful composition of this frog. Nice yellowish background gives a clear separation.

The contrasting texture of colors really allows the frog to pop. Tiny water droplets add to the demention and the time of day. I do see that brightly lit left toe but I believe that unconsciously draws your eye to the center of the picture. My wish is the frog would have shown his right arm for the complete form. You were lucky for this decisive moment before he jumped away.
