Went to Bubble Pond to shoot some golden reflections in the water before the evening light faded. Didn't even see this scene 180 degrees in the opposite direction untill a friend pointed it out.

Beautiful scene. The colors are spectacular.  I love the reflection. Very nice.  Thanks for reminding me that we need to look in all directions at all times (even up and down).  Sometimes the best sights are behind us; especially during sunrise and sunset.

I will mirror the comments already give (pun intended). Really intense colors. We don't get this kind of color here.

Michael: Hve never been to this part of the country but if I had to conjure an iconic Northeast image this would be on the list. I can also see a bunch of possibilities for abstract in the water with a long lens. Beautiful scene superbly captured.>=))>

This turned out pretty darn well, Mike. I love the bold colors and that reflection is just superb. I think I like your version better than mine as I went a little wider than you did. To bad we were to late for the golden reflection, but this is definitely a keeper.

You caught some fine colors and a wonderful reflection here, Michael.  I also like how crisp the evergreens are as they march along the shore.
