Trinity Cabin

A cabin near Weaverville, Ca in the Trinity Alps,  that caught my eye.
Poor husband Jim, who is very patient with my regular requests to back up, turn around, pull off on that side road..."
On our way back from Zion last week, there was a herd of pronghorns near the other side of the freeway , and it was several miles to the next exit to turn around and come back.

Nice contrast, Sandy, between the jollity of the cabin roof decor and the sombre natural surrounds.  I like the composition with the layer of fg grasses which the cabin seems to nestle into.

I agree, this is well composed to draw attention to the cabin.  The light is balanced and it's easy to see what to focus on.
