Willow

Trying something a bit different - a small slice of wet woodland in autumn, when fallen crack willows seem best to capture its somewhat rugged character.

This has a nice fall feeling. The angling branches across the image make a nice focal point.

I'm wondering do I crawl under or climb over...enlightened. I think your comp worked out quite nice in an area where that is not easy to do I'm sure. We have a lot of wet wood land in our area and this captured that feel perfectly on an autumn day.

Ian, I appreciate this intimate composition a lot. It gives me a wonderful sense of the scene and the diffused light conveys the atmosphere consistently to me.
