Black-capped Chickadee

Another from the blind a few days ago.  I haven't been getting much Chickadee action yet, but I have gotten an individual of each of our local species.  I really liked the way this pose conveys the cocky Chickadee personality.

7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600 mm, hand held from blind, f/8, 1/125, iso 1250, aperture priority, pattern metering, -1/3 EV.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped to a 13.6 MP 4x5 before resizing.  Taken October 26th at 11:07 AM.

Comment and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks,

Nice alert pose!  Sometimes these little guys can be a challenge!  I am surprised how well you can hand hold that lens, I can't without some sort of support.  Thanks for sharing.

The pose makes this one for me Dennis, great eye contact, some fill flash would have helped to brighten up the breast and belly. devil
