Bow Valley, Banff NP
When traveling in Banff NP I rarely frequent Canada #1 in favor of the old road, The Bow River Parkway. In this scene near Banff I was attracted to the different forest stages from mature lowland aspens and conifers to fire damaged areas and then young aspens and conifers up the mountainside. All comments welcome.>=))>

Like it, BIll...The big Pine just off center enough, and the three other Pines are strong. May be a little more foreground to balance the gray background slopes, maybe not. Beautiful country.

I'm loving all of the different greens here, Bill, from the golden tones of the starting-to-turn Aspens to the dark evergreens on the distant slopes.  A fine view.

Nice view of the changes in forest cover in a pleasing composition.  Both the aspens and the gray hills make excellent contrasting backgrounds for the spruce/fir spires.

Love your composition, Bill with that conifer centered against those golden leaves of the aspens, and the distant mountainside.  You handled the light so very well; the leaves all seem to have their own glow.  Excellent image in my opinion.

Grays and greens in well balanced proportions. I like the lines of the mountains and the trees from upper left to the middle right. Maybe just a personal detail, but I wish the top of the main tree were below the line of the light green trees. Nevertheless a very fine image.
