I was reprocessing this image yesterday (original in my gallery) when I started playing with some filters in PS. I ended with lots of variations on a them, but I'll post this one, which is only moderately interpretative. Used oil paint and poster edge filters in PS. Please view larger image. Suggestions and other comments welcome.

This is nice, but I think I prefer the original in the Flora Gallery.

Simply beautiful, Scott. My kind of image, with its Asian art look. It's so amazing what you can come up with in the digital darkroom. I love this one.

A lovely image, Scott.  The golden leaves are spread so well throughout the frame.  The gentle "art" touch adds some extra interest.  This has a very "japanese painting" sense to it.

I really liked your straight post of this image, Scott, but I must say that I think this might be even better.  For so many leaves it still has a very simple and elegant feel to it.  I think this would be wonderful printed very large.
