Beautiful bird; nice detail and colors.  Good pose, perch, and background.  I'm with Jerry, would love to see one of these guys.

A better perch and pose than I've managed to encounter with this species, Sandy.  Nice detail and an excellent job on getting the gaudy colors right.

That's a crazy looking bird, Sandy!  I've never seen one of these.  For that matter this is the first picture I've ever seen of one!  The shot is very nice, with excellent exposure and colors plus a disappearing background.  I like how the nearly florescent blue patches on it's head are reflecting in it's eye (especially obvious in the large version which shows all the fine detail in this capture).

Very nice work on the difficult colors in this species. It's quite easy to blow the greens or blue, or lose all detail in the blacks, but you've done a good jb with the challenges. One of our most colorful corvids.

So nice!  I love the clean background and eye contact. Pose and perch are also quite good.  Well done.
