Sandhill Gliding

This is one of a number of Sandhill images from the Bosque last week. A little earlier than my normal visit, but there were good numbers and the weather was relatively warm.  Unfortunately I had to contend with plain blue skies typical for the region.  Cropped from right to 4:3 aspect from 3:2 original.

After the fall we've had in the Northwest, I'd love a plain blue sky for a few days, Bill.  Nice detail and a good gliding pose.  An excellent job on the exposure.

Nothing wrong IMO with a clear blue sky as seen here. Nice full wing stretch and body position.
