Texas Great Blue Heron

I was waiting for some ducks to fly by and this guy nearly ran into me. I liked the feather detail and the way he stands out from the pleasing background. Processed using Lightroom CC (2015) and Photoshop CC (2017) along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Jerry,

I like the pose of the heron and that it is flying towards the viewer. Technically very good.

I may have liked a more smoother and less brighter background. A smoother background may have been possible by using a lower aperture. On the other hand I guess there is not to much that can be done, since F5.6 is the biggest aperture possible with the lens as used enlightened

Superb detail in the heron, Jerry, and the bg is very nice.  I like the wing position and you got great light on the subject.  Well done.

Very nice clarity on this heron.  The wing position is really pleasant.  I like the fact that you are at eye level.   Background is fine.
