Winter Walk

This is a driveway that leads down to a home on Long Lake which is close to my home. My wife's best friend lives there and I usually drive past when we have some fresh snow just to see if I can make a new winter image. It always makes me feel like I want to take off for a nice winter walk. Thanks for looking.

Would love to go walking here, Nick !  You've really brought out the qualities of the scene with the conversion - great range of tones, with the soft greys of the bushes lining the brilliant white pathway edge, and those dark trunks dominating the view.  Very nice indeed !!

Thanks Ian, Glad it made you feel like taking a walk down the path here because that is just how I feel too. I appreciate your comment. Happy Holidays. Nick

This is gorgeous, Nick.  Your comp is lovely.  It catches all those diagonal lines that make this such a classical image.  It has a calming feel to it.
Nice one.

Genny and Igor, Thanks so much! I'm glad you both enjoyed it. I'm actually going to print it and frame it so it looks like the 720 version here with the single white mat and very dark gray (almost black) wood frame. Hopefully it will look good in my studio / gallery for awhile. Thanks, Nick
