This extremely young Leopard poses outside his hidey place, unfortunately the light was not good!

Taken in Kwando concession Botswana,
EOS 1DX
200-400 mm F4 with 1.4 ex at 420 mm
ISO 1600
F7,1 (silly choice)
1/125

Did you find the key to the kitty nursery?  Another great cub shot. The larger image shows lots of detail. With the conditions you had (1/125s), you captured a marvelous image. Well done.

How I missed this one I am not sure. What a wonderful portrait of this young Leopard. No problem with light in my opinion.

Hey Ken,

Very cute...again. The green foliage adds a nice bit of accent here and I like the inclusion of the "cave" in the backgound.

Cheers...

Doesn't get much cuter than this one Ken. Too bad about the light, but looks like you worked well with what you were given.

The light was good enough.  This is really nice.  Is it unusual to get them alone on the ground like this?

Pete mum is quite close at the bottom of the frame, I cropped out her area of interference.
