I know I am regressing a couple of seasons, but I had worked on this before and just forgot about posting it. Anyway I thought I would put it out there to see what everyone thinks. This was taken in June along a section of the Jessup Path in Acadia NP. We had headed further down the path to shoot some birch trees that arched over the trail itself, but the wind was really moving everything around and the sun was out except for very brief moments. That did not pan out, but I think this one did.
As always thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment or suggestion.

Hard putting this up right next to Nick's -30deg image... ;-) The good news is that it doesn't detract... your image is fresh and beautiful. I love everything about this image; from the fine grasses and fern that anchor the scene, to the display of the birch trunks - and what stands out to me is that the main subject, the cluster of trunks, these are the mature trees. The surrounding forest and bg appear to all be younger trees. I think that dynamic plays a subtle role here.
Everything looks great here. Thanks for sharing some visions of spring and summer.

Harry: I see what you are saying about the trees. The birches in the grove were at some crazy angles probably due to searching for some sunlight. I tried one degree of CW rotation to address your idea.
